I could really learn a thing or two from you :)
It flows very nicely and has a good diversity of instruments.

A 10 for originality, because it's indeed quite unlike the original and a 9 for clarity, because the soft parts were -really- very soft; could be taste, but that's the only thing I'd change (to make them a bit more audible, so to speak)

It sounds nice enough, but perhaps vary the piano a little. I like the synth sound, but I sometimes became lost in it's echoes :x

Sounds game-ish; it immediately reminds me of a menu in a tycoon or sims game, which isn't a bad thing, because that obviously makes it really ambient :)

I like the way the melody flows; something's missing, I agree. Mayhaps you could experiment with a second voice like that?

Great sound effects, too, I like it, even though it's not my favorite genre :)

The reason I gave you an 8 for originality lies not in the sun, 'cause that was already written, but rather your choice.

And I really like the choice! It's my favorite tune too, I can just imagine Nobuo writing that song just for his special friends, you know? It has that special feeling. Great job at the remake, though I must say that the guitar doesn't feel authenticly to me, despite the streaking of the snares (with the chords)
Perhaps there's too little volume variation? Anyway, good game ^_^
